That IO message again

Just after completing last night's blog entry, something made me re-try submitting the text file for The Horsepower Whisperer to Lightning Source. I was in the process of closing down my desktop computer and thought let's have just one more go. Funnily enough it all worked.

I don't think the IO failure message relates was solely to file size. It could have been that I had too much open my computer. It could also have been a problem with my connection here, deep in the wilds of darkest Cornwall.

Anyway, it all worked and I got a thank you message at the end of the Lightning Source process.

If there is a moral here, there must be something along the lines of never give up, explore other variables or simply try again later.

I reckon the years of messing around with all cars and motorbikes has just made me pig headed.
