The proof isn't in the post

The proof isn't in the post and I haven't received it yet. Apparently, I hadn't completed the full transaction via the printer's website. I had an e-mail from them today to confirm whether I was ready to accept The Horsepower Whisperer following my re-submission of the cover and book block. It's all sorted out now but I'm annoyed about the delay. It's a good thing my customer advisor queried this with me.

Anyway it's all sorted out now. Maybe I'll get it by the weekend.

About a week ago, I put my name down for a training day, which covers the process of making submissions an on-line ordering. To be honest I don't think I need any training because I've made all of the possible mistakes already. Maybe it's on what not to do and they want me to run the class.

I had an e-mail last night that said my place was confirmed for this Wednesday. That was too soon so I had to decline. I believe the next one is in February 2008 so I've put my name down for that.

Meanwhile, Becky at Red Snapper has finished the design for the front cover of The Wormton Lamb. This will appear soon on a new Amazon page. I am working on the layout for the back cover and should have this completed by the middle of December.

And just for a change, I'm going to take some time off from updating my Myspace page, type setting, graphic design, proof reading, drawing and internet (mis)ordering and I'm going to
do some writing - the final draft of The Wormton Lamb, to be published Easter 2008.
